Home is where we start. Adventure is where we go.

A DIFFERENT WAY TO RV

Not full-time RVers. Not weekend-only campers.

We love having a place to call home. We also love packing up our 2018 Grand Design Imagine 2600RB and heading out for weeks or months of new scenery, good food, and unexpected discoveries.

Since 2020, we’ve stayed at more than 50 RV parks, learned a lot the hard way, and discovered that balancing work and adventure is possible. We’re sharing the good, the not-so-good, and everything in between, with Lalia along for the ride.

EXPLORE REMOTELY RV

There’s more to the journey than the campsite.

From discovering new towns to figuring out how to take a work call with a lake view, we’re sharing what extended RV travel really looks like.

HOW WE MAKE IT WORK

FEATURED CAMPGROUND REVIEW

RV campsites with lake and mountain views at Anchor Down RV Resort

DANDRIDGE, TENNESSEE

During our stay at Anchor Down RV Resort, we enjoyed beautiful views of Douglas Lake with the Great Smoky Mountains in the distance. We stayed in pull-through site #152 and loved the setting, amenities, and overall atmosphere.

The campground Wi-Fi wasn’t reliable enough for our remote-work needs, but Verizon worked well. We didn’t have Starlink at the time, although the open sky could make it a promising option for future visits.

Our verdict: We’d recommend Anchor Down, especially for RVers looking for a scenic getaway.
